Ruan Breytenbach
Ruan’s primary capabilities include project management, construction management and owner’s engineering services. Ruan is a PM consultant and contractor who offers advice and know how to implement and deliver entire projects, no matter the
challenges. Ruan has 15 years of experience in managing construction projects. He has extensive experience in PM, civil engineering and management consultancy in the mining rehabilitation, environmental, civil infrastructure, solar & wind power and oil and gas sectors. He served as PM, project engineer,
resident engineer and independent certifier for significant construction and environmental rehabilitation projects.
Ruan’s strong contractual background and performance in
managing projects show his acute knowledge (gained from
first-hand experience as both a contractor and a consultant) of
construction contractors’ capabilities. Affording him the means to
motivate, manage and lead both the contractor and consultants /
designers to complete projects successfully. His ability to execute
for stakeholders empowers him to coordinate and pull together
the different strands of each project and to secure successful
completion and operation for project owners.
Ayanda Mthombeni
Ayanda works as a Project Engineer and a part-time Research Assistant. She has over 8 years of experience in the design, modelling and construction supervision of municipal infrastructure planning and design development within the built environment, mining and land development sectors. She holds a master’s degree in civil engineering and a BTech in Civil Engineering, specialising in Urban Engineering from TUT. She has led several projects which include the rehabilitation of mining infrastructure projects to meet mine closure objectives and land development projects. Her passion involves community upliftment and development, and her list of projects has allowed her to further this passion.
